Black History Month Celebration and Recognition at the Hard Rock Cafe
The GNYCC had the pleasure of honoring this amazing group of business, community, and civic leaders at the Hard Rock Cafe. We acknowledged and celebrated all their accomplishments. Jumoke Fagbayi-Butts of JP Morgan Chase & Co., V.P. - Sr. Business Consultant - Minority Entrepreneurs presented Keia Clarke, CEO of New York Liberty, WBA Basketball; Terry Holiday, Colonel US Force Retired) and Chair of the GNYCC presented, Feniere James, U.S. Army Special Forces (Retired). A special thank you to Larry Mullins, News Anchor of 1010WINNS as the EMCEE presented Melva Miller, President & CEO of Association for a Better New York (ABNY); George Hulse, Emblem Health & GNYCC Board Member presented Dr. Patricia Ramsy, Ph.D., President of Medgar Evers College; Julie Menin, NYC Council Small Business Committee Chair presented Althea Stevens, NYC Council Rep District 16; Jane Tillman Irving Former Bill McCreary Legend Honoree & WCBS Ground Breaking Reporter along with MaryAnn Carr Former Sup. of Town Bedford presented A.J Woodson of Westchester Black Magazine this year’s Bill McCreary Legend Honoree Award. Mayor Eric Adams, Chief Advisor Ingrid Lewis - Martin gave special remarks about New York City's progress towards becoming a better and safer community.
