Annual Black History Awards Reception
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Black History Awards Breakfast today. Each year, we host this event to honor legacy, celebrate leadership, and inspire the future—and this year’s gathering was truly one of our favorites.
We were proud to recognize an outstanding group of honorees whose leadership and impact continue to shape their communities and industries:
• Alturo Rhymes – Former Executive Producer at CBS News Evening
• Dr. Henry Thompson – CEO, Community Health Center of Richmond
• Walter T. Mosley – Former NY Assemblyman and former Secretary of State of New York
• Brenda Braxton – Entrepreneur and Tony-nominated, Grammy-winning Broadway actress
• Aissata M. B. Camara – NYC Commissioner of International Affairs
We were also honored to recognize the legacy of the late Reverend Jesse Jackson; a leader we have had the privilege of working closely with over the years.
Congratulations again to all of our honorees, and thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this celebration so special. Together, we continue to uplift legacy, leadership, and the leaders of tomorrow.
A special thank you to Breads Bakery for providing the incredible food that helped make the morning even more memorable.
