We cannot expect hard-working small business owners to compete with city run supermarkets that won’t have to pay an electric bill, rent or buy their products at full price. The heartless co-chair of Mamdani’s Socialist party thinks that our members should go out of business. That is why we filed lawsuits to stop this extraordinary waste of tax dollars that will threaten the existence of independently owned businesses that create jobs and pay taxes
