GNYCC hosted a webinar with the SBA the focus being on assisting small businesses existing and start-up, alike, to identify financing solutions, giving businesses and entrepreneurs one on one access to meet and ask questions with a panel of lenders from different organizations to go over what you need to get money for your business! Financing Programs including Loans: 7(a), 504, Microloan, International Trade Loans, Surety Bonds, Grants for R&D, Investment Capital, Disaster Assistance and Grants. Panelists represented were City National Bank, Pursuit, Chase Bank, Dime Community Bank, Renaissance EDC, BOC Capital Corp and First Republic Bank. Nepal Investment Interaction and Networking Event
The Consulate General of Nepal, New York hosted an interaction and networking reception on “Investment Opportunities in Nepal” in collaboration with Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, in New York.

The event was hosted to celebrate with the business community in New York the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the United States of America, and to further strengthen bilateral business interaction.

Welcoming the guests, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam, Acting Consul General of Nepal in New York, shared information on Nepal’s foreign investment policies, legal and institutional frameworks, and major areas of investment and facilities offered to the foreign investors to encourage investment and enhance business cooperation. He complimented the US investors for their investments and support for economic growth and job creation in Nepal.

For the past 25 years, Helana Natt has served as the executive director for the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce. She has been recognized for her nonstop efforts for "Building Back New York".

New York tourism has the most significant impact on the food and beverage industry. Tourists spent $47 billion per year in New York before the pandemic. Visitors to New York tend to spend the most money on lodging. International tourists tend to spend four times more than domestic tourists.
