Mayor's Office Launches PASSPort Public
The NYC Mayor's Office of Contract Services (MOCS) is excited to announce the beta launch of PASSPort Public - a data and transparency tool intended to provide unprecedented insight into the City's procurement system by making information at every step of the procurement process available to the public. You can go to nyc.gov/passportpublic to check out the site and share your feedback with MOCS to help improve the tool.As you may have seen, Mayor Eric Adams and I recently announced the beta launch of PASSPort Public, a data transparency portal that gives unprecedented insight into the city’s main procurement system, Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort).
PASSPort Public beta makes information at every stage of the procurement process available to the public, driving procurement transparency and accountability. My team and I hope that this new window into city contracting will be especially helpful for new and small businesses who face barriers to accessing the procurement process, in particular the minority- and women-owned business enterprise (M/WBE) community.
As the “beta” name suggests, this is only the first phase of PASSPort Public. We'll be reaching out to you and other valued partners to gather your feedback in the coming weeks to help refine and expand the portal to better serve your needs. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions or feedback on PASSPort Public!
