2023 Women’s History Month Recognition Awards
As part of the National Women’s History Month observance the Greater New York Chamber recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments, contributions at an annual cocktail recognition reception. It is a time to honor the trailblazers who fought for gender equality and paved the way for women to achieve their dreams. Award winners have demonstrated significant leadership, achievement, advocacy, or service in support of gender equity, women’s empowerment, women’s history, or cultures of inclusion.
This year’s honorees are: Cassandra Alvarez, NYC Dept of Vets Affairs; Jumoke M. Fagbayi, Butts V.P., JP Morgan Chase; Teresa Delgado, Ph.D, Dean & Professor, St John’s University; Judge Rachel ‘Ruchie’ Freier, Acting Supreme Ct Justice; Dr Billie Gastic Rosado, Provost LaGuardia Community College; Joan McDonald, Director Operations Westchester County; Rachel Amar – Senior Advisor, OATH Commission and this year’s special Theatre and Live Stage Award is presented to Marybeth Able, Company Manager of Wicked.
