Mr. Gustavo Pauta, Esq. is a corporate and securities law attorney with extensive experience in private and public mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, finance raising and general corporate counseling. Mr. Pauta has represented a variety of clients including start-up companies, Fortune 500 corporations, venture capital and private equity firms, public and privately held companies of varying size in a variety of industries including, the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, fashion, retail and technology industries.
Start-up companies, venture capital and merger and acquisition transactions, both public and private, represent a significant portion of Mr. Pauta's practice. In his capital markets practice, he has represented issuers and underwriters in connection with initial public offerings, secondary offerings and Rule 144A debt offerings, as well as regularly advising companies and investors in connection with private placements, restructurings and recapitalizations. Also, he has assisted senior management and significant investors/shareholders of public and privately held companies in implementing liquidity and monetization strategies. In addition, as part of his practice, Mr. Pauta has also advised private and public companies on a range of corporate governance and internal corporate management policies and procedures, as well as SEC regulation and compliance.
