The FY 2020 Budget highlights; makes 2% Property Tax Cap Permanent, Includes Landmark Criminal Justice Reforms, and MTA Reform Plan that Includes Central Business District Tolling, Increases Education Aid by Over $1 Billion, Bringing Total Education Funding to $27.9 Billion, and Introduces New Education Equity Formula to Ensure Funding for Poorer Schools,Agreement to Enact Public Campaign Finance System, State Spending Kept at 2% for the Ninth Straight Year
