Fernando truly embodies the immigrant success story. He grew up in NYCHA public housing and is determine to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers. He knows the pain small businesses face when city agencies impede success, and, once elected, will strive for the city to be a supporting partner of small businesses to ensure their growth.
Lastly, Fernando is running because he has seen our city become increasingly unsafe under the past administration. No other candidate has taken more illegal guns off the street or worked as intricately to reform and sift the prison culture towards a truly rehabilitative system. Fixing our city starts with making streets safe again or our families, bringing tourism back to the Big Apple, and making sure our small business and restaurants have he support they need to reopen.
